Winter Solstice Fail

So, last night, I was trying to bike home through a snow storm.  I made it part of the way, but, the snow was just too deep.  It was not a mountain bike ride, but rather, a hike through snow.  I thought that it might be a little risky because if I were to fall and hurt my leg or something in the snow, no one would know where I was and I would be stuck spending a cold night on the mountain.

So, I worked my way over to the Chevron gas station.  While there, a guy with a truck overheard me talking to the gas station clerk about my situation and he was kind enough to give me a ride home – it was Brad and his wife (I can’t remember her name).  I’m sure that he will never read this blog but I did want to thank Brad for the kindness.  I appreciate it!!
